Hello,

I'd like to make a shortcut in 2008 R2 on the desktop that goes straight to
my adapter settings - not one adapter settings but lists all my network
adapters so I can select and modify them - like in Windows 2003 or XP -
right click on network - properties and it lists your nics - I don't give a
fig about my network basic information - I want to go straight to change
adapter settings.

Thanks

This irritates me too. You can create a shortcut to the network adapters
folder by getting to the network adapters folder, then click and drag
the little icon in the address bar of the window. Drag it to the Desktop
or wherever you want to create a shortcut.
