On 98SE, go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Network and make
sure that file and printer sharing is enabled. The, go to Start |
Settings | Printers, right click the printer, and share it.
XP Pro should automatically discover and install the shared printer
within a few minutes. To find it, go to Control Panel | Printers and
Other Hardware | "View installed printers or fax printers". If the
shared printer isn't there, click "Add a printer" and follow the
Wizard's prompts to install it.

Configure your firewall to access by computers on your local area
network. XP's built-in Internet Connection Firewall doesn't have that
capability, so you must disable it on the local area network
connection. Enable XP's firewall on the cable Internet connection.
