i recently upgraded a secretary to winxp. she shares a
laser and inkjet printer w/ the whole office.
i gave the new pc the same computer name, and the share
names are the same. everyone else is running win98 and
they rebooted and the 2 printers worked for all of them.
one guy downstairs has win95 still tho, and when i try to
get him back up on the inkjet, his pc finds the printer,
but it says that it's offline
any idea what to do to make it print correctly?
i ran the network wizard on the xp machine, everyone on
same workgroup, share name the same, etc.
