Hi,

I have a pc which dual boots windows xp and ubuntu linux. Now, this
computer is the one with all the music stored on it (as it has the most
storage space). I used to just share the music folder on my local
network and do Map Network Drive on the other pc's at my house.

But since ive started using linux my family can only listen to music
when im using windows. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to share a
folder on linux so that it is recognized as the same folder thats
shared by windows , as i dont want to keep changing the locations of
the music for my familys pc

Sorry if this didnt make much sense, i found it hard to word.

Seconded. Might be worth making a FAT32 partition and sticking the
music on there. That way, it eliminates the problems of a WinXP NTFS
partition being read only.
