I would like to share 2 other WIN 98SE laptops with a WIN98 SE host that
connects to the Internet using Dial-Up networking. Are there step-by-step
instructions?

I will be using Wireless Linkys Router/Switch for the "Hub" so that laptops
can connect anywhere. Will the laptops be able to initiate and connect to
the internet even though no internet session is in progress on the host, and
once one internet connection is establish, can there be independent browsing
on the host and other laptop.?

Basically, how is DUN internet sahring different from DSL internet sharing.
Limitations?, headaches?

Thanks Ken

Yes, the laptops will be able to initiate an Internet connection, and
all of the computers will be able to browse independently. See this
site for details.

ICS Installation [Win98SE]
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...icsinstall.htm

Before you enable ICS on the host computer, configure the wireless
router as an access point only, so that the laptops get their TCP/IP
configuration from the ICS host computer. Consult the router
documentation for details:

1. From one of the laptops, connect to the router's web server
interface, which is usually at an address like http://192.168.1.1

2. Disable the router's DHCP server.

3. Change the router's LAN IP address to the same subnet that ICS
uses. A good choice is 192.168.0.254.

4. Connect the host to one of the router's LAN ports. Don't connect
anything to the router's WAN (Internet) port.

Then, enable ICS on the host and reboot the laptops.
