Sharing Cable Connection On FreeBSD

Hi All,

I realize that this is a *Linux* newsgroup, but I don't know where else to
post this question. I have a cable internet connection set up and I'm
sharing it with a Windows XP laptop through an ethernet router. I want to
share this connection with a FreeBSD box I have running too, but I don't
know what I need to configure. Do I just need to enable DHCP? Do I need to
alter the kernel in any way? If so, would you please type EXACTLY would I
would need to enter in? Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In general, you don't need dhcp. Static addresses work just as well, unless
you're using the computer in multiple locations. As for FreeBSD details,
no idea.
