hi. i have 2 pc's on a home network connected by a belkin
4 port switch/router. can't get the xp machine to see
shared files on the ME machine. other way around is fine.
get messages "windows cannot find the other computer or
share name.", "\\<machine name> is not accessibl. you may
not have permission to use the network resource."...it
seems that there may be something in ME that i need to set
to allow others to see my drives - but cannot find
anything. all firewalls are disabled when attempting to
network. can you help please. i have little hair left as a
result of some 20 hours trying to resolve this.
