Sharing AOL DSL Connection

I'm posting this for a friend. He has a 3 machine home network that allows
file and print sharing. He has asked me if he can share an AOL brodband
connection.

The connection is via a BT Voyager 100 DSL modem which can be 'seen' from
other machines on the network, but the settings seem to be contained within
the AOL software itself.

Other than telling him to get a 'real' ISP has anyone got any suggestions
of how to set things up.

Thanks

Z.

Tell your friend to look in AOL's help section.
They even provide video clips on how to do it.
I set-up a friends AOL using a Netgear DG814 router, so long as you can set
the routers mtu size to 1400 any router should work.

Thanks

I was going to try running a proxy

Your pointer to the AOL help stuff suggested a Thomson router and as it's
supported by AOL, he's going with that.

Thanks again

Z.
