I would take the bridging off initially, it doesn't seem to work as
expected all the time.

if you have ping from the old pc to the new then check the default
gateway is set to match the old PC (192.168.0.1 at a guess) and same
for DNS server. ipconfig /all from a DOS prompt.
Can you ping a website like
www.bbc.co.uk by name or by IP address
212.58.224.123 from the old PC.
This is what ADSL modem/routers were invented for :-)
