I need to know how to restore a SBS 2003 companyweb setup to factory default.
I have searched and search and there doesn't appeaar to be a way to
"uncustomize"

Andrew,

There's a specific news group for SBS issues. However try this step
specified in this MS KB:
How to remove and how to install the Windows Small Business Server 2003
SharePoint Services companyweb Web site
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829114/en-us

What do you mean by uncustomize?

You can just amek a new portal.
Make another web site and extend that one with new site prof and serv
databases.
Make sure the new virtual server ahs a diffrent port number, diffrent IP, or
diffrent DNS name and host header.
