Hi guys,

We have networking printers on our servers. Currnetly, I installed Windows
Vista on a couple of computers, the problem is those drivers out of date,
Vista lets me update the drivers. Our printer are HPs, HP suggests me use
the driver from Vista. Question is here, how to install the Vista drivers on
Windows 2003? Vista is not in "Additional Driver List" and no individual
driver.

Thanks.

Ray

Steve,

Thank you for your reply. But the URL will re-direct to

http://207.46.196.114/WindowsServer/....mspx?mfr=true

This URL doesn't help. There is no Vista in the list and more I don't have
the seperate Vista driver for the printer.

If the driver isn't available, go to the vendor's website and see if they
offer it for your printer.

Paul,

Thanks, I did look at HP website, it said "use the driver on Vista DVD".
Moreover, there is no Vista in Win2k3 driver OS type.

Yes, you could not add Vista driver on Windows 2003. I think you could
add a shared printer in Vista clients, and then insert Vista DVD when you
are promoted to supply drivers.

You have to install printer for each Vista client PC manully, take a try.
