Shared printers

At home I have a W98SE machine to which are attached two printers, both
shared.
I occasionally bring home a laptop from the office, running W2K and logging
on to a domain.
They connect through a wireless router/ADSL modem, which provides DHCP and
allows connection to the Internet.
I have managed to get the two machines to see each other by creating
appropriate user accounts. I can read and copy files freely, within the
limits of the declared shared folders. However, I have not found any way of
having the W2K machine access the printers, which are connected locally to
the W98 machine. I have tried connecting as \\PCname\sharedprintername which
is the shared name of one of the printers, but I get an "access denied".
I can get access to the printers, by not logging on to the domain, and
creating a local login for the W2K machine, but our IT people don't like
that and would like me to always login to the domain.
How do I access the printers? Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks,
