If i understand you right, you want to share files from XP to XP?
If both boxes are logged into the same domain server or even belong to the
same subnet, this should work without problems.
Install file and print sharing service on the XP server (-> network
properties)and then share your folder on that box.
You should then see box A in network neighbourhood of box b and should be
able to share files.
I guess this might be the wrong NG to ask. If you really have problems
with your linux domain server, try to ask in
comp.protocols.smb
.....otherwise i'm sure there are other NG related to XP
networking/filesharing
