Setup XP-Pro Clients with Svr 2003

I have an NT 4.0 Network with a mixed 98/XP-Pro
environment. I am DAUNTED by the "simple" upgrade path to
2003. I have spent hundreds of $$ in addition to the cost
of 2003 on manuals. All speak of configuring AD, GP, OU,
etc., but I am looking for plain-speak advice on what to
expect and what to do PHYSICALLY with my XP-Pro Clients.
Will they (the XP-Pro Clients) automatically recognize 2003
when rebooted into that environment and present the logon
screen to allow the user accounts newly created at the
server? Will the local accounts and settings on these
machines be (inappropriately) available to be logged on to
by un-savvy users? How can I get to the setings / names for
the old local log on accounts to delete them to prevent mix
up with the pushed new user accounts that come from the
server? Much info is presented in all the books about what
goes on at the server, but nothing about the 1-2-3 at the
clients!! Please Help!

If you set up your Active Directory and DNS correctly, the XP clients will
be be able to log on to the domain on reboot.

The local accounts will still exist. If you are concerned about the
security, simply delete them.
