Setup Wizard won't run

Has anybody ever contacted Product Support Services to
replace a defective wireless-G setup CD?

My wireless base station (MN-700) refuses to install on my
HP Pavilion desktop computer. Everytime I start (either
manually or autostart) the Setup Wizard or Configuration
wizard, nothing happens.

According to MS support, I should: "Verify that your
computer conforms to the minimum system requirements." Yep.

"Make sure that you have enough free hard disk space." Yep.

"Verify that your CD drive is functioning correctly." Yep.

"If the other CD works correctly, you may have a bad CD."

So according to them, I got a bad CD that MS will replace
(if I ever find out how to contact Product Support
Services at MS).

Any other solutions?

Hi,
Take a look at this MS Knowledge Base Article:

Did you try to set it up through your browser instead? I did when I
couldn't use the cd.

Muchas gracias.

Thanks for the link but I had looked at this one already.
It doesn't apply to me: I have Windows ME with no
workgroup name assigned.

It looks like I'll be attempting the manual setup this
weekend...

Thanks, DK

Thanks much.

Once I finally find my workgroup name, it turned out to
have an illegal character in it.

After I removed it, the setup wizard worked.
