How to setup wireless network

Hi, I have old PC with Window98 (not 98SE). I try to setup a wireless intenet
connection through a PCI card (802.11b/g). However, I found most PCI cards
require at least Window 98SE. Does anyone know any PCI card works in Window
98? All suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

most PCI cards will work with win98SE ...but with wireless you mus be sure
the manufacture supplies a win98 driver.

someone should chime in with short list of known working wireless adapters
for win98

Most NICs and wireless adapters being sold today work with Windows 98
Second Edition.

I've used these wireless network adapters successfully on original
Windows 98:

USB: Netgear MA101, Netgear MA111
Cardbus: Netgear MA401, Microsoft MN-520, SMC2635W

According to their web pages, these adapters should work on original
Windows 98, too:

Cardbus: Orinoco Classic Gold PC Card
PCI: Netgear MA311, Orinoco 11b
