Hi Belinda,
Having the SMTP service is not enough. SMTP is a "mail transfer"
protocol - you cannot retrieve email via SMTP, you need another protocol
like POP3 or IMAP. Anyway, Windows Server 2003 now has a built-in POP3
service so you can configure it as a full fledged mail server, check out
this detailed article on how to do this on Microsoft's web site:
