Setup a Zone Transfer between your DNS and the DNS of the other Domains.
This lets each DC have a "copy" of the Zone from the others. It will
automatically keep itself updated.
The Zone Transfer is almost required if you want to setup a Trust between
the Domains anyway.
BTW - You ping hosts,...you don't ping Domains. All you need to worry about
is if you ping the FQDN of a host you get the right IP#.
