I have 1 head office with 1 domain and several branches with their own
domain.

How do I setup my dns so when I ping remote-1, it should return the right ip
address.

My all branches are connected thru VPN Tunnel so I can ping by local ip
address but if I ping by name, it cannot find the domain.

If I understand your question correctly, you may need to create external DNS
record. This how to may help.

Setup a Zone Transfer between your DNS and the DNS of the other Domains.
This lets each DC have a "copy" of the Zone from the others. It will
automatically keep itself updated.

The Zone Transfer is almost required if you want to setup a Trust between
the Domains anyway.

BTW - You ping hosts,...you don't ping Domains. All you need to worry about
is if you ping the FQDN of a host you get the right IP#.
