setup one interface for 'up' and another one for 'down'

Hi
i have two internet connections a 'dsl' and a 'vsat', and i want to
use the first one for uploading data to one of my out servers, and the
second one for downloading .
does anyone knows how i can setup two network interfaces, one for
downloading from the net and the other one for the uploads ?

The way you describe this, it would be easy. Just set a route to the
upload server through the DSL interface, and the default route through
the satellite.

This is less easy, but I think it's possible using iproute2. See the
Advanced Routing HOWTO and iproute2 documentation.
