I have 2 Server2003. One Server with 2 NIC acting as
router. one NIC connect to child domain, another NIC
connect to root domain. I setup a RRA on this server.
therefore, PCs in child domain can ping to root domain's
Svr2k3, (There is only one server in root domain and
connect with cross cable to this server), but not in
oppsite way.
Even PCs in child domain can't browse root domain's
network in network place.
Can anyone tell me where to learn this things.
Million Thanks

Setup WINS and allow all the machines to use WINS. Network Places is NetBIOS
based. Since they are communicating across a router, NetBIOS broadcasts do
not travel across routers. WINS will help.
