settings in management tools changing

I'm using the MN700. I've noticed the last few weeks that the settings in my
management tools are changing. I've changed my password a couple times when
it said I had the wrong password (which I didn't) and that I had no
encryption (which I did). I changed the encryption key a couple times. I
always clicked on apply to save the changes. I'm running komodo firewall and
everything looks fine there. I'm lost as to why it keeps changing, unless
I'm being hacked. Any ideas? Thanks!

The settings shouldn't be changing arbitrarily, however the unit is several
years old and perhaps it is becoming "worn out." I think Microsoft stopped
making the line of products at least two years ago (maybe three). Are you
using a WEP key you're inserting, or are you relying on the unit?

If you're entering your own WEP key and it is changing it for some reason, I
would honestly suspect the unit is starting to go bad. It might be time to
look for a newer, different brand. 8-(

Yes, unfortunately, we sometimes have to do that. Good luck with the new
one!
