Can you ping the router? Run command prompt and enter
192.168.2.1 Can you reach the router? Open IE and enter
192.168.2.1 If this works, there is a misconfiguration in
the router WAN page.
Otherwise, it's a problem in the wireless connection. Check
the properties for the Internet connection. TCP/IP should
be set to obtain an IP from the "server" or to a
192.168.2.x address (notice the 2 -- other vendors are
using 0 or 1) -- the 2 in gateway and DNS should be changed
if an IP is used.
Under IE/Tools/Options check the connection settings. It
should be set to use a LAN always or when available.
You may also have to change the WEP security key to match
the MN700 key, including key type and length.
Finally, make sure that on the wireless connection settings
you didn't add the SMC SSID to the list of preferred
networks -- you should add the MN700 SSID to the list (and
probably also change the router SSID from the default MSHOME)
