Setting up WPA on a mac network

Hello
Can someone please give me the basic steps to setting up WPA encryption
on a wifi network
we use a Netgear router DG834G wireless router and a small network of
apple macs all with up to date OS 10.3.3 and airport cards
I wish to set up the highest form of encryption. Do I need to enter
the encryption key into each computer manually or should the machines
prompt me for the key once I have generated from the router
Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.
