Trying to get this done. I'm doing a hotel chain down here and I'm
having a problem. The access points are 225 feet apart so I know I'm
within range. I can surf in the hall ways but not in the rooms. I've
thought of interference but can't figure out what it could be. Any
suggestions?

Could it be because there are fewer obstructions (walls) to pass through
when your in a hallway compared to a room? I've had trouble getting a
wireless signal over 20 metres when it's going through 3 or 4 walls.

Is the problem in all rooms (even one right next to an AP location) or just
the ones further away from the nearest AP?

Tim.

What are the walls made of? If you have plaster with metal lath, you might
have a real big problem.

HI
What are the walls made of? Some hotels are using foil backed plaser board.
This is to make mobile reception poor forcing clients to use hotel phones.
