Setting up a wireless hub

Hi

I have just purchase a notebook awith a wireless Atheros 802.11g NIC.

What make/model wireless hub would be good for using in a SOHO
environment with this card?

Is it compatible with other 802.11 standards?

For security is it best to set-up VNP connections using L2TP/IPSec to
secure the data transfer and access?

Can someone make some equipment and configuration recommendations
please?

Yes, nost 802.11g cards will operate in 802.11b.

YES! Sonicwall makes a very nice easy to configure unit that does this:

I hear they will have an 802.11g out sometime.
