Setting up two Nics/Interfaces

I just installed a fresh copy of 2003 server standard edition. I am going to
be running RRAS on this machine. Currently it has its two nics installed.

I am wondering how I need to configure these nics. I am running NAT so I
know I need to put one of the nics in the DMZ and the other will be the
internal. What I am wondering though is for the external interface do I need
to put my gateway on the interface or not and do I need to specify my DNS
server?

Any other information is also appreciated.

Thanks so Much

The machine can only use one default gateway. If you want the machine to
access the Internet, the external interface should be in the DMZ subnet and
have its gateway set to point to the Internet router. The internal interface
gateway address should be blank.

If you are running AD, all machines (including the DC) should point to
the local DNS server. This server should be set to forward to a public DNS
server to resolve "foreign" name requests.
