Where is there a website with instructions for settg up two computers
to share a rounter. I need to have two computers with a modem to
share a router for intetnet connection and set to autoanswer. Can
this be done? Or do I need a single external modem tied into the
router. Pleasse advise me. Thanks.,

A router is a network device. "Autoanswer" indicates a telco modem, vice a
network connection modem like a cable modem.

Its possible to connect using a router in the configuration you're
suggesting. Only one PC, using the telco modem, can used for autoanswer.
The router must be setup to communicate with the that telco modem connected
PC as the source of the internet. That PC must also contain some
internet-sharing software and a NIC. The other PC would connect to the
router via NIC for connecting to the internet. The PC with the telco modem
connection would have no hardware firewall protection. I would not suggest
this setup for the faint of heart.
