i have a desktop pc and 2 laptops all running xp.
i had telewest broadband fitted tyesterday but didnt want holes drilled
through my house to my desktop.
the engineer said that he could fit the modem next to the digital tv and i
could get a wireless router that would let me link up all 3 computers.i
bought a belkin wireless router that has a usb connection and installed the
software. it works great.
HOWEVER the 2 laptops cant connect. Both have Texas wireless cards installed
on them but dont seem to be able to connect. the guy at pc world said that
both laptops were wireless enabled. do i have to buy belkin usb laptop
connectors and put them into the usb port forit to work?
any help is appreciated. thanks

Hi
If the laptops are Wireless capable you do need additional cards.
Many Laptops have a physical switch that need to be switched On to start the
Wireless.
In addition you have to make sure that your Laptop's Network settings are
configured.
Read the manual. or and look at the manfacturer site.
If you the Wireless basic are functioning this might help.
