I wish to assign a static ip to my pc when I use it at work but at
home I want to use dchp. Is there a way that I can tell my linksys
befw11s4 router to assign ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to the mac address
xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx. My firmware is 1.45.

thanks
Ralph

I'm not familiar with that router, but if it can't do what you want, you can
always use profiles, to choose dhcp or static. You can even have a menu
choice at boot up as to which method to use.
