I have 3 PCs attached to my linksys wrt54g wirelss router for internet
access. All PCs running XP with 2 using media center edition. This is working
fine. I believe I can set up a wireless network to allow printer sharing
(also file sharing). I started going through the process on one of the PCs. I
used a different network name in the wizard than I have for my router. Is
that a mistake? Should I have used the SSID that identifies the router
network? If so, how do I go back and change that?
Also, is there an easy write up on how to get all these PCs/printers onto
this printer sharing network?
Thanks.

Hi
Wireless variables like SSID and Router's name as nothing to do with
Sharing, Wireless is just a substitute to Wire, if it works. I.e you can log
to the Router and or use the Internet than you have a Network.
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed
to be shared.
