When we ping a server from itself it is showing time=1ms

But when we ping from outside it is showing time=in thousands

What to Do?

Hi Venkat,

Affraid you would have to provide a bit more information than this :-)
Have you tried to ping the server from a client on the same subnet/LAN

Yours Sincerely,
Benjamin

hi venkat.
you are not complitly described your problem , but with PERFORMANCE LOGS AND
ALLERTS you can complitly monitor your server.
in ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS >> PERFORMANCE you can add what you want to check. by
example when your respond slowly it can hapend because a process is using all
of bandwith of your server , or a process is using all of your cpu time.
you can add Gages for check your bandwith , % cpu time , output queue lenght
and ...
