I will clean the WINS records and check the WINS settings in the problem computer. This search result may help,
Event ID: 4321 - could not be registered on the Interface with IP address
Symptom: 1. When you start a Windows computer or try to access the network resources, you may receive this error message: Duplicate name exists. 2. There is Event ID4321 logged in the System event log....

Hello,
I have a Windows 2003 server that is shutting down every so often! The only error or logged event is a NetBT Event ID 4321.
(
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822659/en-us)
SPAMGUARD 90.0.0.13 (server with problem)
ACTSERVER 90.0.0.31 (Machine that seems to be causing the EVENT)
DATABASE-SERVER 90.0.0.30 (Server with WINS database)
I'm not sure if this is causing the server to go down but, here's what I've verified so far:
1) Each server has a unique NetBIOS name
2) I've created a static record in the WINS server for each server
3) UPS services are NOT running on the problem server (SPAMGUARD)
4) There are not duplicates in the WINS records
Any ideas? I'm not sure that the 4321 Event ID would shut down the server but, every so often, I find that the server is OFF?
Thank you,
Soroush
