Server not accepting new connections

I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on a strange problem we've
been experiencing. We have 2 AD servers in our environment, one of
them also hosts user's home drive.

The server that also hosts the home drives has 'crashed' a couple
times lately. It basically stops accepting any new connections, but
still responds to ping requests. I've been connected at the time via
RDP and everything on the server seems fine. However, if I close the
RDP connection and attempt to reconnect the connection just hangs.

The only solution has been to restart the server, after which it works
fine. Any ideas on the cause would be greatly appreciated.

No, unfortunately I can't see anything that would indicate a problem
in any of the event logs.

Try to run dcdiag and netdiag to check any errors.
