Server network

I will configure in a few weeks a new server configuration. Each server will
have Windows 2003 Server installed and several services (IIS + network load
balance, SQL Server, DNS, etc).
Each server has two NICs, one for the intranet and the other for
intra-server communications (nlb management, sql replication, distributed
filesystem, etc).

What I need you to suggest is an 8-port Gigabyte switch to connect the
server backbone (the network that connects only the servers). I been reading
about different 3COM switches but I'm quite lost. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot,
Kirsten.
