For about 2 weeks now my Windows server 2003 server will randomly loose its
network connection. I run game servers and have 8 Windows 2003 servers, and
this is the only one with this issue.

The server is IBM xseries 235 4u server, it has a Breadcom NetXtreme Gigabit
Ethernet onboard card. Some one had sugested that this is a know issue with
this card and I should update the drivers. I did update them to 10.26, but
again today it happened. In the event viewer of the server right before this
happens it gives this error

The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer XXX
that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport
NetBT_Tcpip_{6308E455-0AD8-4871-. The master browser is stopping or an
election is being forced.

The the server will loose the network, I have to call my colo and have them
reboot the server. Today I logged into the other server that this error
message is talking about and changed it to a different work group to see if
it would not broadcast this message to this server. I have 3 servers on this
network and this is only happening to this server. I am not sure what else to
try, I have been trying to find out how to not make this server think it is a
Master Browser but cannot seem to find the info. Any help on this would be
GREATLY apreciated.

Thanks in advance

If all computers are in the subnet, changing the workgroup doesn't help. You need to make sure the DC (if you have one) is master browser. These troubleshooting may help,
