Server or just me?

I am trying to set-up a wireless network between my HP desktop (XP SP2) and
my new Gateway laptop (also XP SP2). I can share the broadband connection
through my Westell Versalink router, but cannot share files/printers.

I have run the Wireless Setup Wizard, released and renewed the IP addresses.
Laptop IP is coming up as 192.168.1.47 If I ping, it times out and loses
all 4 packets.

Either I am overlooking something simple, or something is wrong with my
router.

Any suggestions?

Run the "Network Setup Wizard" to set up the home network. Then turn on file
sharing for the folders you want to share. To set up printer, look for a
network printer and let your PC install the drivers.
