Server disappearing in WINS

Hello,

we have two Windows 2003 Server DCs: DC1 and DC2

Both are WINS-Servers and both replicate with each other (Push/Pull).
DC1 also replicates with two other NT4-WINS-Servers, which belong to
different (but trusted) NT4-Domains.
DC1 has only itself listed in the WINS-Servers-Tab.
DC2 has only itself listed in the WINS-Servers-Tab.
The other memberservers have DC1 as primary WINS-Server and DC2 as
secondary WINS-Server listed.

In mid-March 2005 we installed our AD-Domain and today nearly all
Servers disappeared in the WINS-Database of DC1.
The Servers were all visible in the WINS-Database of DC2.
Inititiating Database-Replication manually did not help replicating the
records over to DC1. Also no errors or whatever is logged in the
Eventlog. We even do not see that this manual replication has caused
anything.

Database records on DC1: 3500
Database records on DC2: 4000

We were not able to get the databases to an equal record count.

What happened? We are totally clueless. Any help?

Regards,

Jack

Try enable "log detailed events to windows event log" in the server
properties's advanced tab to see if there is any event.
