Server and client connection issue

Hi, can Win2003 server remotely control client machine to restart or
shutdown at pre-set time and make a connection log ? if not what other
alternatives ? Thanks

Yes. You can create a Scheduled Task invoking the native shutdown.exe
command to remotely shutdown a machine.
