Server access issues

We have two servers, Server1 is Windows 2003 running as a
domain controller, Server2 is Windows 2000 also running
active directory as a DC. They are in two differant sites.
Server1 was brought online first then we added Server2.
On both servers we have shared folders for user data.

Here is the problem. When I add an NT4 workstation to the
domain I can map to both data folders. But when I try to
access server2 I get access denyed. This happens no matter
how I logon to the domain from the NT4 workstation. I do
not have this problem with any of the W2k or XP
workstation.

We have looked at and tried changing the ACL on the shares
but I think it more than that. We cannot access the
printers, or any of the other shares. Again this only
happens from the NT4 clients. The clients have the lastest
SP install.

We have tried everything to resole this problem and
nothing seams to work. Any help would be welcomed.

Thank in advance
Larry

My guess is that you will need an integrated WINS service to make this
work. W2k and XP will find the server in the "other" site using DNS. NT will
be trying to find it by its Netbios name. This usually fails in a WAN
without WINS.
