Completed the updates to 2003 last year.
"Exchange 2000" was still listed in "Licensing", and
there were regular event log errors regarding exceeding
licensing for Exchange 2000. Revoked ALL the Exchange
2000 licenses... they kept reappearing.
Finally resorted to "How to Reset License Manager
Information (Q153140)" and deleted (renamed) cpl.cfg,
llsuser.lls, and llsmap.lls. (VERY CLUMSY METHOD BY THE
WAY, HOW 'BOUT A WAY TO CLEAN UP LICENSING WITH A BIT
MORE _savior faire_ MICROSOFT???)
Restart licensing server on the designated licensing
server, try to add licenses, and the resultant error
message is
"You do not have the appropriate access privileges to
complete the operation"
