what happens if i implement disk quotas on a file server after a user has
already stored more data than the quota will allow?
example: file server has quotas DISabled... joe blow has 20GB of data stored
on the server and i enable quotas and define a 10GB storage limit. what
happens?

thank you!

They may be able to work with their current files - depending if the file
became smaller or grew larger as they edit it. They will not be able to
save any new files or copy any new files into their data folder.

ok... and if i set a warning level... does this warn THEM? or just log an
event on the server. it would be nice if a user could get an email when they
got close to their quota
