We are running load balanced redundant win server 2003
boxes. Roughly every 5-10 days a single machine is
posting an event id 5719 from NETLOGON saying:

"This computer was unable to set up a secure session with
a domain controller in domain -DOMAINNAME- due to the
following: not enough resources to complete this
operation."...

No errors post on our DC and all the other servers work
fine, never posting such an error. There are only 2
websites on the machines. We've tried re-configuring IIS
worker-processes and process re-cycle times within the
registry, but this does not do the trick. Does anyone
have a clue as to what can be causing this error, or at
least what process or resource is at fault?

Gratefully,

Jeremy A. Marut

What virus protection solution are you using on the server
itself? Almost all cases of "insufficient system resources"
are related to an outdated Anti virus solution.
