Hello.
I am having trouble with a Server 2003 with two NIC. One NIC gets internet
from a DSL modem and the other NIC distributes that internet connection. The
server is set to use a domain so each user logs in their own specific
account, but the database is shared so everyone can write and read from it.
The problem is that in the morning almost every business day the internet is
unavailable to the server or to the client computers. However, should I take
the DSL jack and plug it into a regular computer internet is present. As a
matter of fact when I check the modem from the server, the moded shows that
it is connected and can ping other websites, but still the server shows no
internet access and thus the client computers cannot access the internet.
The problem becomes fixed at around 11:30 AM without any modifications.
What could be the cause of this? Please, I need fast help.
