Good afternoon,

I have Server 2003 Enterprise installed on our server and an issue was
brought to my attention today. I have not seen this error before, however, a
simple resart rectified the problem.

Error message: "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the
requested service".

This was generated when a client machine attempted to access a folder that
is shared on the server. I tried the network shortcut icon to the folder,
whilst on the server and this also generated the error. However, I could
navigate to the folder whilst on the server.

Doeds anyone know why this is generated? As I said, I have rectified the
problem, but if this arises again, I would like to know why.

Thankyou,

J

Used to get the same error in Windows NT running Norton Antivirus
Corporate edition. Happens with other Antivirus apps as well. Stop
and start yours and see if this clears the error.
