I have an office which has Server 2003 running. The server has 2 NICs

One plugged into an ADSL modem directly. The other connected into a
switch for the Local Network.

The previous IT guy has left and I need to know what to configure to
make the office be able to get out to the Internet.

Here is what I have:

NIC1--

IP - 65.81.1.2
Subnet - ???
GW - none
have 2 DNS address from ISP

NIC2--

IP - 192.168.1.x
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
GW - 65.81.1.2

Have installed PPPoE on NIC 1

Hi Brad,

You will at least need to configure gateway on your NIC1. Gateway will
probably be a router on your ISP side (probably 65.81.1.2). Also you will
need to configure subnet mask, but what it is only your ISP can tell you...

Call ISP and ask them about these two parameters...

This is what you need *assuming* it is using a Non-NAT, Non-DHCP,
Non-Addressable Internet Applicance. In other words, just a basic, simple,
DSL Modem that doesn't do anything else other than "convert" between the
Phoneline Media to the Ethernet Media.

65.81.1.2 is not a valid gateway for nic1
