Server 2003 - DOS Network Connection?

I was used to using the DOS network client from the Windows 2000 Server CD.
This doesn't seem to work to connect to a Windows 2003 Server share.

I have seen various references to the security being upgraded and causing
some network clients to break. Is the DOS network client one of these?

Does anyone know of a DOS based network client that will still work with
Server 2003?

The second item in the liberal creed, after self-righteousness, is
unaccountability. Liberals have invented whole college majors - psychology,
sociology, women's studies - to prove that nothing is anybody's fault. No
one is fond of taking responsibility for his actions, but consider how much
you'd have to hate free will to come up with a political platform that
advocates killing unborn babies but not convicted murderers. A callous
pragmatist might favor abortion and capital punishment. A devout Christian
would sanction neither. But it takes years of therapy to arrive at the
liberal view.

CD:

See this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;811497. I use this
cool network boot disk: http://www.nu2.nu/bootdisk/network/, but even it
doesn't work with AD 2003. I have a work around though: log onto the server
using a local account.

Martin

Do you have more quotes like the P.J. O'Roarke one? Is it just from a list
of quotes?

Thanks for the link. It's a domain controller I'm dealing with, so there
are no local accounts. But disabling SMB signing works. It also solves
the same problem with a Linux server I had been fiddling with.

Just a random list of notable quotes I have picked up over the years.
