server 2003 and XP home

Hi

I am getting ready to connect Windows 2003 server up to 4 different
machines. Some one told me that XP Home will not work with Server 2003. Is
this true and if so is there a work around?

Also 2 machines are running 98 SE is there any issues there I should be
concerned with?

Hi Rick,

I am not sure what will be the role of this Windows 2003 server? Will it be
a domain controller or ...? If so here are some information for you.

Windows XP Home Edition can't be a member of domain (any domain). Other then
that users from Windows XP HE should still be able to access resources (e.g.
files shares) located on Windows 2003 server.

Install Active Directory client on your Windows 98 SE clients. Active
Directory Client is located on Windows 2000 server CD.

It is not true , Windows 2003 server does map with windows
XP home and XP pro, Providing you have the right IP
addresses. Windows 2003 server will/should assign them
using DHCP.
