Server 2003

I have installed Windows Server 2003 as a domain controller and had a nice
functioning network, then i added VPN capabilities to the server and the
remote connection was working. Then everyone in the office lost their
network drives. The only way to restore them is to search for an ip address,
if you search for the server name it is unable to find it. Do i have a major
problem here or am i just mising something simple.

The main reason or cause for this is because the remote pc was connected to
a network with the same network range ie 192.168.0.x

Connecting a remote client to a DC can have drastic effects on name
resolution and browsing (because the server is now multihomed). See KB
289735 and 292822.
