I just reformated and reinstalled a RH9 box to make a router, but after
installing and letting sit a cpl days, i now get an error on bootup. i cant
boot up nor get into bios, my system stops at a POST screen giving me this
error message. "Serial Presence Detect (SPD) device data missing or
inconclusive. A properly programmed spd device is required for reliable
opperation" Ive searched google and get a buncha articles on having the
wrong ram type, but it s the same ram from the dell machine as when it was
bought. no changes. its a Demsion xps t500 pent 3 500mhz. Dell no longer
supports this board, and i cant even get far enough to reflash the bios to
make sure ther is no error. Im at a loss for what to read or do.
