Sending Messages over wireless network

I have a wireless network in my house and the house next door. Ive tried
using the "net send" command with their IP and computer name. And is says
everytime alais unknown. Also is there a program i can use to see what each
user is looking at on their computer though mine, like XP's remote
assistance.
